What is Gray Blending?
Gray blending is a color technique used to blend gray hair with natural hair color. This technique is used to create a natural-looking color that is not too drastic or noticeable, depending on the desired outcome. It can be a great way to cover gray hair without having to use a full color treatment.
When using gray blending, the hair is first lightened to a level that is close to the natural hair color. This is done to ensure that the gray hair blends in with the natural color. Once the hair is lightened, a toner is typically applied to the hair to create the desired color.
Gray blending is also a great way to add subtle highlights to the hair, using your natural hilights and ‘start studded sprinkles’. The toner used in the process can be customized to create a unique look that is tailored to the individual.
